Dicte – Crime Reporter launches on More4 at 9pm on Friday 7th July 2017.
The new series sees the return of Dicte Svendsen (Iben Hjejle), who is as ballsy and as busy as ever. Dicte – Crime Reporter also stars Lars Brygmann and Laerke Winther Anderson and is based on the novels by Elsebeth Eggholm.
Grappling with pressing deadlines and juggling a complicated home life she still manages to solve some shocking and dangerous crimes including the murder of a young footballer, a violent diamond smuggling network and a gruesome assassination of a prominent member in the kinky S&M community.
Meanwhile, Dicte is forced to re-examine her relationship with her father, a Jehovahās witness whom she hasnāt spoken to for almost 30 years, when heās the victim of a shocking hit and run accident leaving him in a critical condition. Her new relationship with Bo is going well but balancing time with her daughter Rose proves difficult for Dicte. Plus Dicte finds herself unwittingly coming between her best friend Anneās relationship with her ex-husband Torsten.
Dicte – Crime Reporter combines gritty Scandi crime thriller with the honest and down-to-earth warmth of her everyday life as a reporter, a mum and a friend. She just canāt help meddling in the stories that stumble into her path – much to the chagrin of the Aarhus police chief Wagner.
The series features 5 episodes and kicks off at 9pm this Friday on More4.
