Renowned zoologist behaviour expert Dave Salmoni is fronting new series Deadly Islands on Discovery Channel.
In the series Dave visits some of the world’s most remote islands to investigate how and why their native inhabitants have been so successful at surviving despite the harshest of conditions. Deadly Islands comes from the people behind the stunning natural history series Planet Earth.
The 6-part series sees Dave turn predator detective as he sets out to solve some of the last big mysteries surrounding the world’s most successful natural-born killers. He travels to Shark Island in Rangiroa, Devil’s Island in Coiba, the mountains of Grizzly Island and the scorching lava of Volcano Island.
Deadly Islands airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Discovery Channel from 1st May 2014. Check out two clips from the series below:
