Daniel O’Donnell is the third celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2015.
The entertainer, who was paired with Kristina Rihanoff, found himself in the bottom two alongside Kirsty Gallacher and Brendan Cole. After both couples danced again, the judges decided to save Kirsty with Craig Revel-Horwood reasoning, “I am going for the couple that was the most powerful, and that was Kristy and Brendan.”
Talking about his time on the show Daniel said, “Whatever I have given [to the show], I have received tenfold – absolutely and honestly. I want to say thank you to all the people who voted.”
Kristina added, “You were such a joy to work with; you are the most wonderful guy, always there with a smile, always ready to learn. It was an absolutely wonderful experience for me, so thank you so much.”
Daniel follows Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo and athlete Iwan Thomas leaving 12 celebrities remaining in the competition.
Will Young performed his latest single Joy during the results show and danced alongside professional dancers Aliona Vilani, Oti Mabuse and Karen Clifton.
