On the latest episode of Cold Feet, Jenny (Fay Ripley) took Karen (Hermione Norris) to her hospital appointment. Her husband Pete (John Thomson) and the rest of the gang finally found out her secret and she began her treatment. Meanwhile, Karen tried to set Adam (James Nesbitt) up with a friend and David’s problems became worse.

Karen and Adam’s double ‘date’ with their prospective new squeezes goes well but Adam can’t resist a few jibes about Dan being a vicar. Socially conscious Dan challenges Adam and reminds Karen of whom she used to be. As Karen’s relationship blossoms, Adam struggles to shut out his growing feelings for Karen.
Jenny starts chemotherapy, supported by cancer buddy Charlie – he even encourages her to join the hospital choir. Out wig shopping with Karen, Jenny jumps at the chance to be the face of Karen’s new book. Back at home, Pete finds himself in a dilemma when Chloe, terrified her mum is going to die, asks him to formally adopt her.
Homeless David takes refuge at the airport but a chance encounter with ex-wife, Robyn forces him to admit his plight. After being welcomed back by his friends, David shares his newfound perspective on life with Olivia when she cracks under the pressure of her exams.
