Cheat: watch the first trailer for Katherine Kelly’s new ITV thriller

The first trailer has been released for Katherine Kelly’s (The Night Manager) upcoming ITV psychological drama Cheat.

The four-part series also stars Molly Windsor (Three Girls) and it’s written by Gaby Hull. Cheat is produced by Two Brothers Pictures. Watch the trailer below:

At the heart of the drama is the dangerous relationship between university professor Leah (Katherine Kelly), and her student Rose (Molly Windsor), when, what begins as a seemingly open and shut case of academic deception, quickly spirals out of control, ending in fatal consequences, and triggering a devastating sequence of events that threaten to engulf them both. With two fiercely intelligent minds unwilling to back down, Cheat will keep audiences guessing from the start, exploring just how far weā€™re prepared to stand up for what we believe, and at what cost.

The cast also features Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans, The Secret Agent, Mr Selfridge) as Leahā€™s university professor husband Adam, and Lorraine Ashbourne (Unforgotten, The Interceptor, Silent Witness) and Peter Firth (Spooks, Strike Back, Victoria) play her parents Angela and Michael. Adrian Edmondson (Bancroft, Retribution, War & Peace) takes the role of Roseā€™s father, William.

Cheat is due to launch on ITV in March.
