Now that Sheridan Smith’s Cleaning Up has finished on ITV, we’re hankering for a gripping new-drama.
Lucky for us (and you) Cheat, starring Katherine Kelly (Mr. Selfridge) and Molly Windsor (Three Girls), is starting on Monday night.
University lecturer Dr Leah Dale (Kelly) has always prided herself on her academic integrity so when final year student Rose (Molly Windsor), submits a suspiciously top-grade essay, Leah is quick to call her out.
But thereās more going on than meets the eye as Rose takes the challenge as a personal affront, and what begins as a seemingly open and shut case of academic deception soon spirals out of control.
The series also stars Tom Goodman-Hill, Lorraine Ashbourne, Peter Firth, Burn Gorman, Lara Rossi, Parker Sawyers, Justine Mitchell, Jimmy Akingbola, Neve McIntosh, Joanna Brookes, Philip Bird and Aoife Hinds.
