Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev top 5 Strictly 2014 dances

The Strictly Come Dancing 2014 grand final airs tonight on BBC One and the four remaining couples are all capable of taking home the Glitterball Trophy.

Yesterday we highlighted the top 5 dances of the series from Mark Wright & Karen Hauer and Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff. Next up out of the finalists is Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev.

Over the course of the series Caroline has been one of the most consistent dancers and heading into tonight’s final she’s definitely the favourite to win. We’ve watched back all of her dances and picked our 5 favourites…

5. Rumba – Week 3

We still get goosebumps when we watch Caroline & Pasha’s Rumba. It is a spine-tingling routine danced so beautifully by both of them. Of course having Pasha’s chest on display doesn’t hurt either…

4. Jive – Week 8

Aka the week that Caroline got her groove back. She had a few iffy dances in the weeks prior but with her Jive she delivered on every level. From the costumes to the energy and everything inbetween she was incredible.

3. Argentine Tango – Week 11

Fast footwork, clean lines and impressive technique the Argentine Tango was a definite highlight over the series. Caroline attacked it with conviction and the end result was pretty stunning.

2. Charleston – Week 10

During Around The World week Caroline delivered the biggest surprise of the night. Her Turkish themed Charleston will be remembered as one of the finest moments of the series, if not the whole show’s run.

1. Salsa – Semi-final

Grabbing the first 40 of the series, Caroline and Pasha’s Salsa is without a doubt the dance of the 2014 series so far. That could change with tonight’s showdances but until then this is the one that shows Caroline’s potential to win the whole show.

Strictly Come Dancing 2014’s grand final is tonight at 6.30pm on BBC One.
