Carol Kirkwood leaves Strictly Come Dancing 2015

Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood left Strictly Come Dancing 2015 tonight during the results show.

Carol and her partner Pasha Kovalev found themselves in the bottom two with Kellie Bright and Kevin Clifton. Honestly it was pretty obvious who would be going home at that point as Kellie and Kevin definitely didn’t deserve to be in the bottom two. Both couples performed their routines again then it was over to the judges.

Craig Revel-Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman all chose to save Kellie and Kevin, meaning it was finally time for Carol to hang up her dancing shoes and go home.

Talking about her time on the show Carol said, ā€œOh my goodness, it has just been the most wonderful experience ever. I will never forget this as long as I live. A huge thank you to everybody from the runners to the make-up, hair, wardrobe, the lovely judges and all your encouragement, the fabulous contestants, the crew but more than that to Pasha. Heā€™s just wonderful. Heā€™s got the patience of a saint, the best teacher in the world, a gentleman and a gentleman so thank you.ā€

Pasha added, ā€œIā€™m so proud of you. Working with you was the most amazing experience I have had on Strictly because I couldnā€™t even believe that you can be so nice. People are that nice, I didnā€™t know that. Thank you so much. Iā€™m definitely going to miss you singing to me.ā€

Tonight’s show featured a performance from Seal who was joined on the dance floor by professional dancers Joanne Clifton and Giovanni Pernice. There was also a special Remembrance Sunday performance, as the professional dancers performed a nostalgic routine to the Andrews Sisters’ song In the Mood.

Strictly Come Dancing 2015 continues on Saturday 14th November at 6.50pm. Take a look at the action from tonight’s show with our gallery below:
