Britain’s Next Top Model unveils contestants for new series

The new series of Britain’s Next Top Model arrives on Lifetime in January 2016 and today the names of the 15 contestants have been revealed.

This year’s contestants are: health fanatic, Lexi Kelly; former wild child, Alex Needham; stylish Bethan Sowerby; self-confessed loner, Billie Downes; opera student, Chloe Keenan; family girl, Georgia Butler; entrepreneur, Charlotte Roffey; grungy indie chick, Jasmine Hodge; dance enthusiast, Jenna McMahon; devout Christian, Jessica Workman; Irish country girl, Hayley Dunne; biker chic, Megan Brunell; class clown, Jade Rogers; Persian beauty, Amreen Akhtar; and Angel Cole, who wants to be the first openly gay model on the show.

The new series of the show will feature Abbey Clancy and Paul Sculfor as co-head judges with fashion director and style guru Hilary Alexander OBE and celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston completing the panel.

Discussing the new series Abby Clancy said, ā€œA lot goes into modelling. You need to be healthy and strong and prepared to work hard. This series has real girls, real dramas, real judges ā€“ itā€™s perfect for Lifetime.ā€

Britain’s Next Top Model has been given a makeover for its Lifetime debut. It will, as ever, focus on the aspiring modelsā€™ personal stories as they attempt to transform themselves from ā€˜girls next doorā€™ to fledgling fashion icons.

The new series of Britainā€™s Next Top Model starts January 2016, exclusively on Lifetime, available on Sky 156 Virgin 208 TalkTalk 329 and BT 329.
