The Jeffersonian team investigated the death of a man whose remains were destroyed by coywolves on the latest episode of Bones.
Their investigation led them into the world of fantasy football introducing them to several suspects in the murder. For further assistance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) enlisted the help of forensic anthropologist Dr. Beth Mayer (Betty White) but soon got competitive with her.
Elsewhere in the episode Booth (David Boreanaz) was upset when Brennan killed off the character based on him in her latest novel, and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) helped Dr. Oliver Wells (Brian Klugman) with a very personal issue.
The next episode of the season is The Resurrection in the Remains. The Resurrection In The Remains. In a special crossover episode, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) from Sleepy Hollow assists Brennan when a body from the 18th Century is found.
