Boardwalk Empire: The Complete Fourth Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on 18th August 2014 it has been announced.
The latest season, which is available to own and watch instantly via digital download now, brings more back-stabbing and debauched scheming than ever before. New cast members for the fourth season include Ron Livingston, Patricia Arquette and Jeffrey Wright.
The fourth season picks up with Nucky Thompson keeping himself to himself at the end of the Boardwalk, after barely surviving an overthrow attempt by gangster Gyp Rossetti. However, the calm will be short-lived, as Nucky faces new challenges, including a clash with a violent Harlem power-broker Dr. Valentin Narcisse, a battle with his brother Eli over Eli’s college-age son, and the irresistible lure of lucrative and perilous opportunities in Florida.
Both the Blu-ray and DVD Boxsets contain hours of fascinating extra content, including exclusive interviews with the cast and featurettes such as ‘Scouting the Boardwalk’ and ‘The Onyx Club’.
