Liz (Megan Boone) had the fate of the world in her hands in the latest episode of The Blacklist when a strain of the bubonic plague was unleashed.
Eco-terrorist Beck (Michael Laurence) was behind the attack and had recruited a team to help him spread the disease to save humanity by wiping them out. Samar (Mozhan Marnò) and Liz were exposed to the virus as they tried to stop Beck and his followers. Thankfully they managed to find a vaccine and their lives were saved.
Elsewhere in the episode Liz tried to stay out of Red’s (James Spader) way by using a double to fool the man he has spying on her. Red meanwhile tracked down Naomi’s (Mary Louise Parker) daughter.
The next episode of the season is The Mombasa Cartel. Liz picks Red’s brains about the bloody underworld of animal poaching for a murder inquiry.
