Ben Haenow has been crowned the winner of The X Factor 2014.
Dermot O’Leary announced the result and we admit we were a bit shocked. We had fully expected Fleur to win the show so this was quite a shocker.
During tonight’s live show both finalists performed twice. First up was their favourite song from the series followed by their winner’s single. Ben performed Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror and Fleur performed Uptown Funk.
They both then performed the winner’s single which is a cover of OneRepublic’s Something I Need.
Musical guests over the course of the show came from One Direction with Ronnie Wood, Olly Murs & Demi Lovato, and Sam Smith.
Well that’s The X Factor over for another year. Congratulations to Ben on his win!! His single will be available to buy on iTunes tonight.
