Being Mary Jane, which stars Gabrielle Union (Bring It On) is coming to the UK from Monday 3rd February on BET.
The show is based on the BET movie of the same name that premiered on the channel last year. In the US it debuted to an audience of 3 million and was the top original series debut on all cable networks in the 2013-14 season among adults 18-49.
Mary Jane Paul (Gabrielle Union) appears to have it all: a successful career as a TV news anchor, a beautiful home and enough money to be entirely self-sufficient. However, there’s no such thing as a one-woman show, as Mary Jane discovers when she starts her hunt for ‘Mr. Right’. She may report on everyone else’s lives each night on the evening news, but what will be revealed when the curtain’s pulled back to see what it’s really like Being Mary Jane?
