We have to admit we guessed the twist that was coming in last week’s episode of Bates Motel.
Norma (Vera Farmiga) was jumpier than usual when her brother Caleb (Kenny Johnson) showed up unannounced. Those with good memories, or those who paid attention to the recap at the beginning, will remember that Norma told Norman (Freddie Highmore) last season that her brother repeatedly raped her when they were younger.
Putting two and two together we guessed that Dylan’s (Max Thieriot) father must be Caleb and by the end of the episode we were proven correct. Elsewhere Bradley (Nicola Peltz) was presumed dead and Norman made friends with party girl Cody (Paloma Kwiatkowski).
This week’s episode is called Check-Out. Dylan wonders where his loyalties lie, Norma is initiated by Christine into local society, and Norman is is none too happy having Caleb around.
