Bates Motel renewed for third season

The early years of Norman and Norma Bates are set to continue for another season with the news that Bates Motel will be returning in 2015 for a third season.

The hit A&E show has just begun its second season run in the UK on Universal Channel whilst the US is nearing the end of the 10-episode season. The third season of the show, due to begin production in the autumn, will feature 10 episodes bringing the series total to 30.

The second season premiere of Bates Motel drew 3.1 million viewers in the US and been a hit with fans and critics alike. The show stars Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga as the iconic characters Norman and Norma Bates.

Weā€™re pleased that the show has been renewed and canā€™t wait to see how the rest of season 2 unfolds over the coming weeks.
