20th National Television Awards shortlist revealed

The shortlist has been revealed for the 20th National Television Awards.

Viewers have been casting their votes selecting the best in TV for the shortlist. The winners will be revealed at The O2 London on Wednesday 21st January 2015. The show will be broadcast live on ITV and presented by Dermot O’Leary.

There are 15 awards this year spanning categories such as Factual, Drama, TV Judge, Multichannel and Newcomer. EastEnders has picked up three nominations with stars Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright aka Mick and Linda Carter competing against each other for Serial Drama Performance.

The TV Judge category pits X Factor stars Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini against The Great British Bake Off’s Mary Berry and Britain’s Got Talent’s David Walliams.
