Flynn (Goran Višnjić) travelled back to 1969 in a bid to disrupt the Apollo 11 mission on the latest episode of Timeless.
Arriving at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) had to deal with a DoS attack on the center’s mainframe created by Anthony (Matt Frewer). The attack caused the center to lose communication with the Apollo 11, endangering the lives of the men on it.
Seeking help from mathematician Katherine Johnson (Nadine Ellis), they managed to start deleting the virus but a confrontation with Anthony almost scuppered their efforts with one of Flynn’s henchmen by his side. Rufus shot and killed the henchman and they successful deleted the virus and restored communications.
Elsewhere in the episode Flynn fixated over a secretary called Maria (Caitlin Carver), who was revealed to be Flynn’s mother. He saved her son Gabriel from a bee sting, changing the timeline once again.
The next episode of the season is Last Ride of Bonnie & Clyde. The team travel back to 1934 Depression-era Arkansas to find out why Flynn is interested in a particular bank and a necklace key.
