The Witches in rehearsal at West Yorkshire Playhouse

Roald Dahl’s classic and chilling novel, The Witches, has been adapted for the Christmas season and opens at West Yorkshire Playhouse on 2nd December.

The Witches, presented by Curve, Leicester and Rose Theatre Kingston in association with West Yorkshire Playhouse, promises to be “Dahlicious” in every way under the direction of Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster.

West Yorkshire Playhouse have provided a first glimpse of the Grand High Witch’s wicked glare, alongside the multitalented actor-musicians perfecting their cackles and practising their evil antics. Seen here is one of several props and effects which fill this unique production of Dahl’s well-loved – and feared – novel.

Celebrate Roald Dahl’s centenary with this fabulously frightening production, for children aged 7+ and their brave grown-ups.

The Witches is at West Yorkshire Playhouse from Friday 2nd December to Saturday 21st January. Book online at wyp.org.uk or call the Box Office on 0113 213 7700.
