Gutted at York Theatre Royal

After acclaimed performances across the UK, Gutted arrives at York Theatre Royal Studio for one night only. The play is Liz Richardson’s story as she tells it – a frank and funny account of living as a twenty-something with an inflammatory bowel disease.

Packed with colourful characters met along the way, Liz invites you to join her on her shameless tale of love, laughter and loos.

Co-created by Tara Robinson and described by audience members as tight, witty and compelling, Gutted is a new piece of contemporary theatre that boldly explores our relationship to care, our bodies and shame.

The play is produced by The Conker Group and HOME Manchester. Supported by IA: The Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Support Group, Arts Council England, The Wellcome Trust and Lighthouse, Poole.

Gutted is at York Theatre Royal Studio on Thursday 1st November, 7.45pm. Book online at yorktheatreroyal.co.uk or call the box office on 01904 623 568.
