Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular UK dates

The UK and European premiere of Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular has been set for May 2015.

The live show was a sell-out on its world premiere in Australia and will now enjoy a limited run of UK performances in London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow. The show features over 100 performers and is conducted by Ben Foster.

The music will be performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and members of the BBC National Chorus of Wales. It is written by Murray Gold who has composed the music for the TV series.

The show features iconic enemies such as the Daleks and the Cybermen alongside some of the newer monsters from the series. A big screen presentation will show key moments and specially edited sequences from Doctor Whoā€™s 50 year history.

Saturday 23 May 2015: The SSE Arena, Wembley, London Monday 25 May 2015: Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
Tuesday 26 May 2015: National Indoor Arena, Birmingham Wednesday 27 May 2015: First Direct Arena, Leeds Thursday 28 May 2015: Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
Friday 29th May 2015: SSE Hydro, Glasgow
