Dante’s Inferno at The Rag Factory

From Jan 8th – Feb 1st 2015, The Rag Factory will host Craft Theatre’s Dante’s Inferno.

Thrilling devising company Craft Theatre will be presenting a new, fearless and physical modern telling of Dante Alighieri’s timeless classic, Inferno. Featuring Craft’s unique, soul-baring and thought-provoking performance style, this production will show the audience the circles of hell and moral crises we all face in our daily lives.

Craft Theatre use exhaustion, cognitive neuroscience, sociology and devising techniques to create work that focuses on emotional authenticity and depth – keeping the actor present, and telling stories with integrity. Their devising process is
physical, psychological and rigorous.

Company members include Kan Bonfils (Miss Saigon and The King and I, West End), Lia Ikkos Serrano (Grimebourne Festival, Arcola Theatre) and Thomas Thoroe (The Borgias, Sky). The production is directed by Rocky Rodriguez Jr, resident artist at the Rag Factory and curator of their theatre programme, designed to offer young companies a no-risk performance space.
