A Wedding Story at the Tristan Bates

As part of the Actors Centre Members’ programme The Play’s The Thing Theatre Company will be performing Bryony Lavery’s poignant, tragic, but ultimately uplifting play A Wedding Story. Interspersed with excerpts from the film Casablanca, its theme is love versus duty. As its heart is an examination of what it is to love and how much our love is based on shared memories. It deals with that most terrifying diseases Alzheimers, focussing on how the sufferer’s family cope (or not) as the once clever, elegant and efficient Evelyn slides further downhill.

A Wedding Story plays from Mon 17th – Sat 22nd February at 7.30pm. Tickets are from £14.

See the Tristan Bates Theatre website for more details and to book.
