The Wall of Songs returns tonight as The X Factor 2017 moves to the Bootcamp stage of the competition.
After weeks of auditions, things are starting to get serious as the contestants battle it out to secure their place at the Arena Auditions. On tonight’s show the hopefuls will race to the Wall of Songs to choose the song they will perform in their group of four.

Once they have their song, the pressure is on to learn it and split the parts with their rivals. If they impress Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, they will secure their place in the next stage of Bootcamp – the Arena Auditions.
Dermot O’Leary will be on hand to support the contestants and guide the viewers through one of the competition’s most gruelling stages.
He said, “I really enjoyed warbling along to the wall of songs. It’s fast becoming an X Factor tradition. I’m not entirely sure I helped, there were a fair few blank faces but I’m backing on Simon watching and signing me up.”
The X Factor continues on ITV at 8pm tonight.
