The X Factor kicks off its 2017 series this Saturday, which means the countdown to Christmas is officially on.
Simon Cowell will return to head the judges panel alongside returning judges Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger. Dermot O’Leary will be back once again to helm the show and support the hopefuls as they go through every stage of the process.
This weekend will see the first auditions kick off as the hopefuls try to impress the judges and secure their place in the competition. The auditions for this series were filmed at Liverpool, Edinburgh, London and Manchester and Thorpe Park.
There have been a number of changes to The X Factor this year with a reduced amount of live shows and the judges promising that there won’t be any novelty acts this year – let’s see if they hold true to that last one.
The six chair challenge will be back so expect high drama, judges changing their minds, people’s dreams being snatched away from them and plenty of tears. There are also rumours that Cheryl may return for the judges’ houses stage to help Simon Cowell select his finalists.
The X Factor 2017 kicks off at 8pm on Saturday and continues at 8pm on Sunday on ITV.
