Carl (Chandler Riggs) came face-to-face with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) on the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
Originally intending to kill Negan, Carl was discovered hiding in the back of a truck and he tried to fight his way out, killing two of the Saviors in the process. Instead of punishing him, Negan took Carl on a tour of the Sanctuary and showed him what life was like there.
Negan also spent much of the episode trying to break Carl using his missing eye as one way to try and get him to crack.
Elsewhere Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Spencer (Aaron Nichols) and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) went on a supply run ahead of Negan’s next visit. Spencer complained about Rick to Father Gabriel, pushing the man of faith away. He did however find supplied but when he reached Alexandria, he realised that Negan and the Saviors were already there.
Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) created a bullet and Michonne (Danai Gurira) ambushed a Savior in a bid to be led to Negan.
The next episode of the season is Hearts Still Beating. Alexandria receives an unexpected visit.
