The Walking Dead returned to our screens for its seventh season this week and gave us the answer to the biggest cliffhanger on TV.
Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed not one, but two members of the group. His first victim was Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), who he beat to death with his trusty baseball bat Lucille.
Daryl (Norman Reedus) attacked Negan, which resulted in Lucille being used again, this time killing Glenn (Steven Yeun) as Maggie (Lauren Cohan) watched on in horror.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) was taken away by Negan after threatening to kill him. Negan played mind games with him and when he returned to the camp, he tried to force him to cut off Carl’s (Chandler Riggs) arm. Just as Rick was about to go through with it, Negan stopped him and it was clear Rick was ready to obey the thug.
The Saviors and Negan left the group but told them if they didn’t provide for him, he would kill Daryl who they took with them.
The next episode of the season is The Well. Following a number of familiar faces, we are introduced to a new well-established community that seems too good to be true.
