Caroline (Candice King) gave birth to the twins on the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries.
Following a difficult birth, Caroline managed to give birth to Alaric’s (Matt Davis) twins thanks to the help of Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore).
While she was giving birth, Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff) retrieved her sword from Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Rayna marked Stefan forcing him to flee from her in order to stay alive.
Meanwhile Enzo (Michael Malarkey) told Damon that Elena (Nina Dobrev) wasn’t really dead and that she was being well protected.
The next episode of the season is Moonlight on the Bayou. Stefan heads to New Orleans, where Valerie has learned of a safe house that can protect him.
