The Resident 1×12 Rude Awakenings and the Raptor preview

An investigation into Lily’s (Violett Beane) death resulted in someone being framed on the latest episode of The Resident.

Nic (Emily VanCamp) was called in to speak to an investigations panel as she was the one who set the flow for the potassium bag that ultimately killed Lily. She pleaded her innocence and confided in Conrad (Matt Czuchry) that she believed Dr. Hunter (Melina Kanakaredes) meddled with the flow to frame her.

When it came to Dr. Hunter’s turn to speak to the panel, she threw Nic under the bus.

Meanwhile Dr. Bell (Bruce Greenwood) had some explaining to do when a patient caught fire while he was operating on them. Mina (Shaunette Renee Wilson) came clean to Claire Thorpe (Merrin Dungey) who attempted to tackle Bell during a meeting. That backfired on Claire who lost her job and was replaced as CEO by Bell.

She wasn’t the only one saying goodbye to the hospital though as Bell sacked Nic as the blame fell on her for Lily’s death.

The next episode of the season is Rude Awakenings and the Raptor. Conrad and Devon work to save the life of a fellow doctor who fell through the hospital skylight.
