Nic (Emily VanCamp) and Conrad (Matt Czuchry) admitted a homeless woman (Jennifer Landon) to the hospital during its big Charity Ball on the latest episode of the The Resident.
Dr. Bell (Bruce Greenwood) tried to get them to get rid of the woman, who was believed to have mental health issues, but Nic and Conrad kept finding reasons to keep her. Nic discovered the Jane Doe was actually part of a wealthy family and she contacted her parents.

Initially reluctant to come to the hospital, they did arrive and Conrad and Nic managed to properly diagnose the woman, who had been wrongly diagnosed as mentally ill.
Meanwhile Devon (Manish Dayal) and Irving (Tasso Feldman) looked after a male escort who they found gave surprisingly good advice.
Elsewhere Micah (Patrick Walker) returned for a check-up and asked Mina (Shaunette Renee Wilson) out and Devon had to contend with his parents unexpectedly arriving at the hospital during the Charity Ball.
The next episode of the season is Lost Love. Nic gets an insight into Conrad’s past when Conrad’s ex-fiancé is admitted to hospital suffering from a mysterious abdominal pain.
