Barry (Grant Gustin) won back his freedom on the latest episode of The Flash but not before he uncovered Amunet’s (Katee Sackhoff) deal with the prison warden Wolfe (Richard Brooks).
As Barry was helping the imprisoned bus metas get away from Amunet, DeVoe arrived and used his chair to extract the metas’ abilities. He transferred his mind into Becky Sharpe’s (Sugar Lyn Beard) body and killed Wolfe.
Meanwhile Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) discovered that he could shapeshift and he took on the form of the real DeVoe (Neil Sandilands) to convince the court that Barry was innocent.

Elsewhere DeVoe drugged Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht) to keep her devotion to him and Team Flash realised that DeVoe was only stealing abilities from the bus metas.
The next episode of the season is Subject 9. As DeVoe goes after the remaining metas, Barry meets a powerful woman who might just help to stop him. Meanwhile, Ralph starts to fear for his life.
