Alice (Mireille Enos) tracked down her brother Tommy (T.R. Knight) on the latest episode of The Catch.
Tommy tried to flee the country with the stolen money after asking Rhys (John Simm) for help. Unfortunately he made a rookie error when he bought earrings for Sophie (Elvy Yost) before he left, leaving a trail for Alice to follow.
When she discovered that Rhys was involved, Alice confronted him and got Tommy’s location. Prior to that a man named Theo (Langley Kirkwood) walked into AVI asking for Alice and Val’s (Rose Rollins) help looking for Tommy. They refused his case but Alice crossed paths with Theo again when she stopped him assaulting her brother.
What Alice didn’t know is that Theo had hired Tommy to return the money to him. Theo promised to leave Tommy alone if the money was returned so Alice went to get it from Rhys and ended up in a gun pointing stand-off with Ben (Peter Krause).
Meanwhile Sophie and Danny (Jay Hayden) were assigned to help Margot (Sonya Walger) track down whoever was trying to have her killed. Margot took a shine to Sophie but taunted Danny by labelling him ‘the B Team’ and setting off a smoke bomb, and almost getting him killed, during an operation to draw out Margot’s tormentor.
Things took a turn for the steam when Danny confronted Margot about her behaviour, which turned into a steamy romp on the sofa in her hotel room.
Elsewhere in the episode Ben and Rhys worked with Agent Diaz (Gina Torres) to host a fine dining evening in the hope of getting the Japanese consulate to reveal more details about the diamond smuggling. The evening went awry when it was revealed that her son was in charge of the smuggling and he stabbed Rhys before demanding $3 million dollars, which Rhys had stolen from Tommy.
The next episode of the season is The Family Way. Alice and Ben are caught in each other’s crosshairs when respective loyalties come between them. AVI uncovers one of Margot’s secrets.
