Reddington (James Spader) went after blacklister Greyson Blaise (Owain Yeoman) on the latest episode of The Blacklist.
Telling the task force that he wanted to partner with Blaise to resurrect his business, Reddington’s true motives were quickly revealed. Blaise, a self-made billionaire who was also a thief, was double-crossed by Red who organised for him to be arrested so he and Liz (Megan Boone) could rob him.
Meanwhile Tom (Ryan Eggold) appealed to Nik (Piter Marek) for help identifying the bones in the suitcase.
At the episode’s end, Liz confided in Red that she was afraid she was more like him than she’d realised and then witnessed an awkward exchange between Tom and Red, leading her to suspect something was going on between the two.
The next episode of the season is Miss Rebecca Thrall. Red ropes Tom into an elaborate plan to help rebuild his criminal reputation. Personal problems distract Ressler from a very important case.
