Gadget Show Live at Birmingham NEC in April

Gadget Show Live – the UK’s biggest consumer tech event – returns to Birmingham NEC from April 9th-13th bringing the very best in cutting-edge technology to gadget fans. More than 200 top tech companies will exhibit giving visitors the chance to see, try and buy thousands of futuristic products – from TVs, toys and tablets, to cameras, cars and consoles.

Launching at Gadget Show Live this year are the British Inventors Project, Innovation Theatre and Gadget Imaging Zone. Visitors can also enjoy spending time in the ever-popular Future Tech Project, HUB Theatre, Kid’s Tech Arena, Game Zone, Combat Ops Live and Volkswagen Driving Experience, which are making a much-welcomed return for 2014. The Super Theatre will also take centre stage as the Gadget Show presenters will host three spectacular hour-long shows every day in the 4,500-seat auditorium.

New for 2014

  • The British Inventors Project will profile and celebrate innovators and inventors in the UK. Exhibitors in the British Inventors Project will be home grown in the UK and will showcase exciting new products before they get to market.
  • The all-new Innovation Theatre will host presentations from inventors who will showcase their technological innovations and prototypes and demonstrate to the audience how they work and how they could change their lives.
  • The very latest in photographic technology will be available in the Gadget Imaging Zone, which covers not just cameras and accessories, but also smartphones and photo apps.

New gadget designs and devices – many still at concept stage and all of which have not yet made it on the high street – can also be discovered in the Future Tech Project.

The recent release of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 consoles has revitalised the videogames market and in the ever-popular Game Zone players can try out the latest next-gen titles, take part in multi-player tournaments and get interactive on the Game Zone stage hosted by Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries.

They can also take gaming to a whole new level in Combat Ops, the ultimate indoor authentic combat experience using sophisticated gaming guns. It launched at Gadget Show Live 2013 to an amazing response from visitors and the good news is, it’s back for 2014.

Tickets are available to buy now.  VIP tickets and Super Theatre front row tickets are already sold out. Super Theatre premium tickets are available on Wednesday only.
