Supergirl returns to UK screens on Monday for its third season.
The season two finale saw Kara (Melissa Benoist) defeat Rhea (Teri Hatcher) and drive the Daxamites away from National City. Her solution, which came via Lena (Katie McGrath) meant that Mon-El (Chris Wood) had to leave Earth and as he flew off, he was sucked into a worm hole.
Meanwhile Alex (Chyler Leigh) made a bold decision and proposed to Maggie (Floriana Lima). We didn’t get to hear Maggie’s response but we’re assured that’ll be addressed quickly in the season premiere.

Season 3 will mark the arrival of Reign (Odette Annable) who is this season’s Big Bad but details of her storyline are being kept tightly under wraps.
The season premiere is Girl of Steel. Kara deals with the loss of Mon-El by focusing all her energy on dealing with a mysterious new threat against National City. Alex confesses a secret to Maggie about their impending wedding and Lena makes a bold move.
