The Myriad effect took over National City on the penultimate episode of Supergirl’s first season.
With everyone in the city, including Superman, under Myriad’s control only Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Cat (Calista Flockhart) and Maxwell (Peter Facinelli) remained immune, with Cat and Maxwell wearing technology Maxwell’s company had produced to counter Myriad. Cat and Maxwell disagreed over how to stop Non (Chris Vance) and prompted Kara to find a solution.
Alex (Chyler Leigh) and J’onn (David Harewood) visited Eliza (Helen Slater) whilst they were on the run but they decided to return to National City to help Supergirl. Before they did J’onn revealed his true self to Eliza and explained what really happened between Hank and Jeremiah (Dean Cain).
On their return Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) defeated J’onn and placed Alex under mind control forcing her to fight Supergirl.
The season finale is Better Angels. As Non ups the stakes, Supergirl says her goodbyes in preparation for her greatest and most dangerous test yet.
