Suits 6×16 Character and Fitness preview

Mike (Patrick J. Adams) finally admitted that he wanted to become a proper lawyer no matter the cost on the latest episode of Suits.

Struggling with his class action suit, Mike was blindsided when Pearson Specter Litt pulled out of the case without telling him. Velocity Solutions CEO James Palmer (Scott Lawrence) went after PSL’s clients taking six of them away from the firm and forcing Harvey (Gabriel Macht) into a difficult position after he found out that PSL was colluding with Mike.

Palmer told Mike he would offer $10 million as a settlement but no more, leaving Mike devastated for his clients. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) went behind Mike’s back to help him. and tracked down a woman named Holly Cromwell (Zoe McLellan), who performed corporate espionage for the company’s CEO James Palmer (Scott Lawrence).

They used the information they had on Palmer to reignite the lawsuit and pushed the settlement offer up to $200 million. Palmer was also forced to agree to hire Craig Seidel (Michael B. Silver) back at the end of the quarter.

Mike approached Seidel and asked him to arrange a hearing with the bar and told him he could have the job at Velocity Solutions provided he helped him get over any hurdles necessary to become a legitimate lawyer.

Elsewhere in the episode Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Benjamin (David Reale) found it harder than they expected to get an investor for The Donna. Donna approached Stu (Ian Reed Kesler) and after initially turning him down, she went back to him and agreed a deal.

Louis (Rick Hoffman) came clean to Tara (Carly Pope) about knowing Mike’s secret and using it to get his name on the wall. The confession didn’t go down well and a tearful Tara left Louis saying she needed time to think.

The season finale is Character and Fitness. Mike needs Harvey and Rachel’s help – or his dream to become a lawyer is over.
