Mike (Patrick J. Adams) tried to get closer to Kevin (Erik Palladino) on the latest episode of Suits.
With his freedom within reach, Mike tried to find out why Kevin was in prison. He confronted him about why he was being so secretive and Kevin admitted that he was involved in a drunk-driving accident following a row with his wife but wouldn’t elaborate any further.
Harvey (Gabriel Macht) meanwhile discovered that Kevin was Sutter’s (Alan Rosenberg) son-in-law and information that Mike could find out from Kevin would help him put his own client behind bars. Mike also decided to let the warden in on Harvey’s plan to get him out of prison early.
Elsewhere in the episode Rachel (Meghan Markle) fought to take on an Innocence Project case despite her professor telling her she couldn’t. She persuaded Jessica (Gina Torres) to take the case pro bono, which allowed her to continue working on. Louis (Rick Hoffman) asked for Donna’s (Sarah Rafferty) help to find a house in the Hamptons after lying to Tara (Carly Pope).
The next episode of the season is Spain. Mike’s past catches up with him again. Harvey defends Sutter. Rachel and Jessica seek to re-open a case.
