The wait is almost over as Strictly Come Dancing 2016 continues with a double-bill of live shows this weekend.
The 15 couples will take to the ballroom for the first time and we’ll finally get a chance to see who may be a serious contender for the glitterball. In anticipation of the first live show on Friday, the professional dancers’ official photos have been released by the BBC.
It’s the first time we’ve seen the pros in their Strictly costumes since the launch show earlier this month. For the past few weeks the pros have been busy in the training room with their celebs as they try to get them up-to-speed so they can impress the judges and the public.
There is no public vote this weekend giving the celebs a little time to ease into the show before they get down to business.
Strictly Come Dancing 2016 kicks off the first week of live shows at 9pm Friday on BBC One. Take a look at this year’s pro dancers in our gallery below:
