Strictly Come Dancing 2018 said goodbye to another couple tonight as Blue singer Lee Ryan and his partner Nadiya Bychkova left the competition.
Finding himself in the bottom two for the second consecutive week, Lee had to compete in the dance-off against Charles Venn and his partner Karen Clifton. After dancing again, the judges all chose to save Charles and Karen apart from Shirley Ballas who said she would have saved Lee and Nadiya.
Speaking to Tess after the result was revealed, Lee said, “I’ve had a really lovely time, even though it’s been short it seems like I’ve been here a long time because it’s been so intense, it’s been amazing. I love these guys, I absolutely love every single one of them. There’s so much love in everyone it’s been a memory that I will treasure for the rest of my life, I really will.”
Nadiya told Lee: “Just stay the way you are because you’re such an amazing person and I love you so much.”
Tonight’s results show saw the pro dancers perform a modern tribute to Singing in the Rain. There was also a performance from Gladys Knight, who performed the James Bond classic Licence to Kill.
