Charlotte Hawkins is the third celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
The Good Morning Britain presenter and her partner Brendan Cole found themselves in the bottom two with EastEnders star Davood Ghadami and his partner Nadiya Bychkova. Both couples competed in the dance-off before the judges delivered their verdict.
Davood and Nadiya did their Viennese Waltz to Say You Love Me by Jessie Ware and Charlotte and Brendan performed their Jive to Marry You by Bruno Mars.
All of the judges decided to save Davood and Nadiya, which meant that Charlotte and Brendan’s Strictly journey was over.
Talking about her time on the show Charlotte said, āIāve had an amazing time, such an amazing time, itās been brilliant from start to finish, it really has been. A huge thank you to Brendan who has just been fantastic, weāve had such a great time going through all the dances, youāve always been there for me, getting my back, there with the support. A big thank you to everyone that voted, I had so much support from friends, colleagues, online, itās been amazing and I loved the chance to come out here and dance. I was trying to get better, Iām going out knowing that I gave it my best and thatās all you can do.ā
Brendan added, āQuite often you stand in this position and you go, āhey it was our time to goā and perhaps today it was our time to go. Not often you stand here with such sadness and go āIām going to miss this and Iām going to miss hanging out with this girl.ā Iām going to miss dancing with her, Iāve had one of the best Strictlyās in 15 years and itās hard for me to even say that and I feel really emotional.ā
The results show featured a performance from Gregory Porter singing a cover of the Nat King Cole song, Smile and a spectacular professional group dance.
