Susan Ross (Artemis Pebdani) emerged as the winner of the Republican debate beating Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Hollis (Gregg Henry) on the latest episode of Scandal.
In a bid to make her seem more down-to-earth, Olivia (Kerry Washington) sent Mellie to L.A. with Marcus (Cornelius Smith Jr.) for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. When Mellie found out she would be reading mean tweets about herself live on air, she tried to get out of the appearance but Marcus served up some home truths to get her to do it.
Elsewhere Susan did a sit down interview with David (Joshua Malina) where they faked it for the cameras, Olivia went too far in a bid to get dirt on Susan, and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) got the upper-hand in his battle with Alex Vargas (Danny Pino).
The next episode of the season is Thwack! A leak threatens the personal information of all the upcoming elections front runners. Can Olivia keep their secrets safe?
