Veronica (Camila Mendes) couldn’t shake the feeling that her father had hired F.P. (Skeet Ulrich) to kill Jason Blossom (Trevor Stines) on the latest episode of Riverdale.
In a bid to find out the truth, Veronica teamed up with Alice (Madchen Amick) and roped in Archie (K.J. Apa) to help her search F.P.’s trailer while Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and his father were at the Coopers’ house for dinner. They didn’t manage to find anything but when they arrived at Homecoming, Betty (Lili Reinhart) realised what was going on.
Betty confronted Archie and Veronica after their sizzling stage performance and Jughead interrupted them, discovering what had been going on. Before the friends could properly argue it out, they were told that F.P. had been arrested for Jason’s murder after the police found the murder weapon in his trailer.
Jughead ran off and Betty went searching for him but instead she found Archie and Veronica at the diner. Initially she refused to listen to them but they admitted that F.P. must have been framed as the murder weapon wasn’t in the trailer when they searched it.
Meanwhile Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) stole the ring that her grandmother have given to Jason but lied to her parents about getting rid it. Penelope (Nathalie Boltt) drugged Polly (Tiera Skovbye) so she couldn’t go to the Homecoming after worrying that she was getting too inquisitive.
Elsewhere in the episode Archie’s mother Mary (Molly Ringwald) went to Homecoming with Fred (Luke Perry) and Hermione (Marisol Nichols) and afterwards she asked Archie to consider moving to Chicago with her.
The next episode of the season is Chapter Twelve: Anatomy of a Murder. Archie and Veronica are shocked to learn of the arrest but know they need to come clean to their parents about what they uncovered.
