Ray (Liev Schreiber) concocted a plan to get Sam Winslow’s (Susan Sarandon) stuff back on the latest episode of Ray Donovan.
After hiding Lena (Kate Moennig) in the boot of his car before letting it get towed, Ray got his hands on the box that was taken from him before the car crash in the previous episode. Returning it to Sam, Ray was surprised to learn that the P.I. who was blackmailing her had ‘committed suicide’.
He was even more surprised when the Oscar and the money the P.I. had found it’s way back to Sam. Could she be responsible for a murder?

Meanwhile Bunchy (Dash Mihok) settled into life in prison and saw one of the men who stole his money. Terry (Eddie Marsan) paid a visit to Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) in New York and it seems the two had more to do with Abby’s (Paula Malcomson) final days than has been revealed.
Elsewhere a flashback saw Abby and Ray break down in the desert and stumble across an ice skating rink. Abby broke down and tore into Ray about how life isn’t fair and we also saw the moment she told her kids that she was dying.
The next episode of the season is If I Should Fall From Grace with God. Ray steps in to save Mickey from himself. Bunchy helps a fellow inmate.
