Nashville’s season 6 mid-season finale ended on quite the cliffhanger as Will (Chris Carmack) collapsed live on TV during a performance with The Lost Highways.

Meanwhile Deacon (Charles Esten) lost his temper with Brad (Jeffrey Nordling) when he witnessed an altercation involving Jessie’s (Kaitlin Doubleday) son. Pushing Brad into a wall, Deacon immediately realised his mistake and Brad vowed to press charges.

Elsewhere in the episode Scarlett (Clare Bowen) took Sean (Jake Etheridge) to see live music at the Bluebird Cafe and he had a breakdown and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) decided to give up on Juliette (Hayden Panettiere).
The next episode of the season is Pick Yourself Up. While he’s in the hospital, Will frets about his future. Meanwhile, Brad gets a restraining order against Deacon.
