Time moved on by 10 weeks on last week’s Nashville as the rawness of Rayna’s (Connie Britton) death started to fade.
Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) made her return to music with the release of her gospel album and was furious when it was panned by all the critics. Upset about the flop of her album, Juliette channelled all of her efforts into helping Maddie (Lennon Stella) in the studio.
The two clashed over the direction that Maddie should be taking but Maddie eventually came around to Juliette’s suggestion.
Meanwhile Daphne (Maisy Stella) struggled to cope with the loss of her mother and made friends with a homeless girl. Her grief turned into rage as she hit out at Deacon (Charles Esten) and Maddie after it was revealed she was failing her classes at school.
Elsewhere in the episode Scarlett (Clare Bowen) experienced morning sickness as she got a paternity test for her unborn baby. Damien (Christian Coulson) was revealed as the baby’s father and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) decided he wanted to try and make things work with Scarlett regardless.
The next episode of the season is ‘Til I Can Make It On My Own. Juliette suffers a bout of anxiety about her first major performance after the plane crash, while Bucky and Zach are at odds.
