Rayna (Connie Britton) feared for the safety of her family on the latest episode of Nashville after her stalker turned up at Highway 65.
She took out a restraining order against her stalker Carl Hockney (Linds Edwards) but he ignored it and approached Daphne (Maisy Stella) at school, attempting to give her a letter. Carl was arrested but I doubt that’s the end of Rayna’s stalker woes.
While that was going on, Rayna also considered buying Luke Wheeler’s (Will Chase) record label after Zach (Cameron Scoggins) suggested she use his money to buy it and expand Highway 65. Rayna met with Luke and agreed a deal while Zach tried to charm his way into Will’s (Chris Carmack) affections by promising to make him a big star.
Elsewhere Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) grew closer to Hallie (Rhiannon Giddens) and decided to record a gospel record. She also continued to progress with her recovery and was dismayed when the media labelled her spiritual awakening as a publicity stunt.
Meanwhile Maddie (Lennon Stella) battled with her parents over Clay (Joseph David-Jones) and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) was pleasantly surprised when she watched the music video The Ex’s filmed.
The next episode of the season is Hurricane. Rayna and Deacon struggle to write their album. Maddie and Daphne create a disturbance at home. Damien apologizes to Scarlett. Scarlett and Gunnar question their relationship.
