Nashville reaches the end of its fourth season on Thursday bringing UK viewers almost up-to-date with the US.
In the latest episode Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) went to couples’ therapy to talk through their problems and work through their past. Meanwhile Luke (Will Chase) continued to fight Will’s (Chris Carmack) battles for him, which resulted in Colt (Keean Johnson) getting beaten up by fellow recruits in the army. Will decided to go on TV and face a harsh TV reporter after a fan showed up at his home and told him about the impact Will’s coming out had on him.
Autumn (Alicia Witt) continued to manipulate Gunnar (Sam Palladio) by arranging for him to sing with Elton John. Scarlett (Clare Bowen) watched from the sidelines and realised that she was still in love with Gunnar.
Elsewhere Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) introduced Noah (Derek Hough) to Cadence, which upset Avery (Jonathan Jackson), and Layla (Aubrey Peeples) was upset that Rayna missed her album release party and that Avery was obsessing over Juliette.
The season finale is Maybe You’ll Appreciate Me Someday. Rayna resorts to desperate measures to prevent Maddie (Lennon Stella) from going down the wrong path.
