Dot Rotten – Karmageddon single review

Following the success of his singles Overload and Normal Human Being, Dot Rotten is back with his brand new singleKarmageddon. Since the release of Overload, an A List record at Radio 1 and a Top 20 hit, Dot Rotten has been polishing his album, now scheduled for early 2013. Here are our thoughts on Karmageddon.

Karmageddon kicks off on a light drum and bass beat. In come the vocals to add a little character but its during its chorus that the single starts showing promise. A mix of pop, r’n’b and drum and bass make Karmageddon a pretty contemporary track. There is something quite relaxed about this track and a good rap adding a little edge.

We can see Karmaggedon’s appeal; the single is trendy and not overpowering. Dot Rotten’s new song is entertaining enough but might feel like there is too much going on at times. On a whole its an enjoyable single just not as exciting we’d hoped it’d be.
