Westlife announce Wembley Stadium show for August 2020

Westlife have announced that they will be playing Wembley Stadium for the first time on Saturday 22 August 2020.

The show follows the hugely successful Twenty Tour, which took place over the summer and sold 600,000 tickets across 27 cities and 13 countries. Fans can expect to hear the four-piece sing classics such as Flying Without Wings, You Raise Me Up and Swear It Again along with selections from upcoming album Spectrum.

The band will be supported by James Morrison and All Saints. Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian confirmed the news on Zoe Ballā€™s breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 this morning.

ā€œHeadlining Wembley Stadium is a dream come true for all of us. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and weā€™re incredibly excited for a show which will be different and more spectacular than anything weā€™ve ever done before. This will be our biggest ever concert in the UKā€, say the band.

Westlife have sold over 55 million records worldwide and are the only band to have their first 7 singles enter the UK chart at No.1. As a live act Westlife have sold over 5 million concert tickets worldwide.

Their new album Spectrum will be released on Friday 15th November 2019. Pre-order it now.

Tickets for Westlife go on-sale to the general public on Friday 20 September at 9am at www.livenation.co.uk.
